Rick’s focus with Silicon Valley Data Science is centered on Platform Architecture design. His work involves building data-driven, analytical solutions based on the next generation of distributed, horizontally-scaling data storage and analysis technologies, using cutting edge data acquisition, integration, quality, analysis, processing and end-to-end enterprise data management technologies.

Rick lives with his wife, Anne, in the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose, CA.

Rick graduated from The College of Wooster in May 2007 with degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science. His senior thesis was entitled: “What Did One Node Say to the Other? A Study of Inference in Bayesian Networks.”
